• Engineered Wood Flooring – this is basically a layer of real wood on top of a plywood base, which means it has the benefits of both laminate and real wood, but without the susceptibility to water that plagues the real wood flooring. • Real Wood Flooring – this is the real deal. Real wood has a great texture and is warm compared to tiling, and on top of that it looks great too. The downside to this is that moisture can damage it quite easily, and if it is not sealed correctly it will lead to problems down the line.
